first things first. thank God for blessing me with such joy and happiness. for all the love and belonging i feel with my class, church, friends, gym and everything! i havent felt like that in a long time (: and thank God for wanlin too. if there was some way i could hug her and never let her go
1. friday morning: racial harmony day 403 WON SONG WRITING COMPETITION!! YEAH WE SO TOTALLY ROCK!! yahoooooo i told you we'll win i told you i told you!! i think this win has really brought the class much much much closer together, because its really the effort of the ENTIRE class and not just a few like the national day dance comp last year. minus the few people who were mending booths for rhd, the whole class really spent lots of time working on this, our recesses and lunches and our sleep! (some of our sleep actually).
for once we just totally forgot about cliques and all; while waiting for the results to be announced we were just holding each other's hands, and when we realised we have won we cheered and hugged everyone. not that 403 is a very clique-ish class, but we tend to stick more to the same ol' group of people. i bet beanie professor snape is really proud of our class. honestly, so am i. GOOD JOB GUYS. I LOVE YOU 403! national fashion design competition here we come!!
we kind of wanted 303 to win too, as part of the 03 tradition or whatever, but they didnt. ohwell getting into finals was good enough i guess.. although i have to say this years dances were a little disappointing.. compared to last year at least.. or maybe it might just have been a little (alot) biasness on my side.. dont blame me, im an ego freak i know..
2. friday afternoon and night: gym IEF and dinner the comp itself was rather boring, although rgs did win b division champions for the 2nd year running.
the seniors came to support rj gym, so we got to see them. i really missed my seniors and even how they used to laugh at us (jokingly) when we do our routine funnily. saw kayli too. she looks like some china doll i couldnt recognise her at first. i was still wondering why wanjun (seow) was pointing out people to her, then a few moments later i was like "ohhh its kayli!!"
gym dinner was great. went to breeks at taka. had some trouble finding our way there because nobody went to that part of taka. quite a nice place, and whenever people entered of left they would say "welcome to breeks!" or "thank you, bye, see you again". i doubt they'll want to see us again though, we made so much noise, and was quite a nuisance actually.
after dinner was the good part. thank you pau fifi jess florry shin and sher for that wonderful rap/poem/song. i really didnt expect anything of this sort until they accidentally let out that they were doing something for us.. haha look at char and her orange bra is really funny. now i know my name rhymes with bra, star and guitar. its a really cool performance which touched me alot ^^ i hope wanting gets it up on youtube soon so i can show it to everyone!! im so proud of my juniors!! i think gym is like one of the few ccas where seniors and juniors are that close. i dont even treat my juniors like a younger group of people! you guys rock rgs gym team! well done!!
3. saturday: captains ball my teammates: kenny vincent amos kengliang caleb ivan raphael nicole victoria socklin merrilyn and me! they all played really well that day!! even i played much better than usual. i scored like 5 out of the 10 goals in the finals! and everytime i scored i'll prance around with this huge grin on my face, kang qi and gerald were all laughing at me. amos played exceptionally well too!! and kenny is a brilliant catcher.
again, we got second because we lost to the TA2 team. in the end the top 3 placings were all the churches which played at TA1 on that day -.- the rest got kicked out somehow or other. hahaha. but this game was much more friendly compared to last year. we all knew each other somehow, and before the finals i even went up to hinnan (sp?) and gave her a hug..
wellwell captains ball has certainly allowed me to meet up with the people i dont see often. like rachel deborah shawn zhaoyong ervine and so many others. got to know more TA girls this time, because we kinda prayed together, and some of them unbelievably dont look their age. im serious. eleanor's 18 and shes shorter than merrilyn!! hahahaha.
had some funny conversations with a few people:
deb: caleb's cuter rach: ervine's cuter!! both of them to me: who's cuter? rach: she'll say ervine. she went out with him me: -.- im cuter muahaha rach: and im the cutest! me: -.- deb: but ervine plays better. caleb plays very unglam-ly (tries and imitate lebleb's clumsy fumbling for the ball)

wanjun: that guy has a very flexible back. he can bend all the way back to catch the ball me: oh thats shawn. guess how old he is jun: i know how old he is what. he's a year older than us right? me: you mean he's 17 this year? jun: yah.. you mean hes our age? me, already laughing: he's 22!! jun: O.O really!! -points to yvonne- jie he doesnt even look your age!! yvonne: -.- and im only 19
and when ivan and i werent playing, we would sit at the sides and laugh at the people playing, and hope the ball lands on the opponent's head. and merrilyn and willie and i were talking about how we should puke on their star players or something, so that we can win. but of course, we being very nice and clean people didnt do that -.-
4. sunday: church and grandma's birthday same old sunday school. during worship melissa and i were talking about this sec one boy. dont know his name, but he's really sweet, and the way he treats his sister is so heartwarming. i couldnt help smiling thoughout the whole jy service.
then then then. mel and enting and i found this really nice place to sleep in church!! yup next time theres any overnight events in church you'll be sure to see me in that corner with the 2 of them sleeping. i think vic was quite amused by us!!
i seriously think my uncles and aunties are very childish people. thankfully mom and dad arent like that. they are filial children who respect their parents and not like some suckers who only know how to borrow money from my grandparents..
and my cousins are freaking cute!! terence was serving grandma the whole dinner!! how sweet.
and because of the dinner i didnt get to watch bring it on. but its ok because elita is lending me her vcd! yay!!
