Firstly, the fact that I said all that has nothing, I repeat, NOTHING to do with which school I come from and the stupid generalizations that the public has come up with regarding students from my school.
Secondly, I mean obviously Raffles is much better than N*******. Ask anyone they'll tell you. And it isn't just the academics where we excel. You guys stick to mugging and canoeing. Who was the idiot who said "aiyah RJ no good NJ the best cos RJip, RGip and non-ip students are very segregated?" and then went on to argue that there WAS such a thing as RJip and RGip even though I tried telling her its the same thing? Load of bullshit, seriously.
I mean, if you think your school's better than mine, PROVE IT. Instead of sitting there ranting on your blog about how some RJC bitch spoilt your day by saying all those shit, and those shit happened to be true.
And she isn't the only one. I mean even Mom says I'm some elitist cos I happen to have opposite taste from her (like wth right) and just because I seem to win her in most arguments, or rather make her go "hey look I don't want to argue with you anymore"
If she can say that, I don't know why I'm not allowed to. The last time I said it, which was when I was doing some work that was due the next day and there she was totally wasting my time by nagging and scolding and whatever (her specialty), she totally blew her head.
At least there's Dad, who's proud of me being in Raffles. Because Dad understands all these shit that arise isn't due to the fact that I'm an RJ student, and if I were from another school the same shit would probably happen as well.
And then there was uncle pete, and I had to spell out that "elites are characterised by their intellect, not because they look down on others" and he was like "see? elitist!" and I totally saw a connection. Really. -.-
WTF I'm sick and tired of people throwing such cracks about my school and I maintain that it is because of such remarks that sparks off all those "intellectual snob" business. Because when people can't find anything to criticise, they pick on us at the most random, non related areas.
When we try to be professional and counter such stuff, we're called defensive and people simply brush away our corrections saying they are excuses. When we ignore them, we're considered to be admitting to such generalisations. Just, say whatever you want because at the end of the day, we still prove to be the best anyway.
